Common questions
How long does a bathroom renovation take?
2-4 weeks for a typical full-gut bathroom — depending on tile complexity, fixture lead times, and whether the layout changes (which moves plumbing). We provide a written timeline with the quote.
Do I need a permit?
Most bathroom renovations don't (cosmetic) but plumbing/electrical changes do. Basement finishings and additions always do. Condo renos require board approval. We handle all permitting — it's part of the quote.
What's a laneway suite?
A small detached secondary dwelling unit on the laneway side of a Toronto residential property — a 2024 zoning change that lets homeowners add a rental unit. We design and build them turnkey, typically $250-450K depending on size and finishes.
Do you take on small jobs?
Yes — single-room work, tile repair, deck rebuilds, fence work, drywall patching. Our handyman rate is $145/hour with a 1-hour minimum.
